Resumen

La ultrasonografía (US) es una técnica de imagen utilizada por el reumatólogo en su práctica diaria, con fines diagnósticos y de monitoreo en diversas enfermedades. En relación a su aplicación en pacientes con diagnóstico de espondiloartritis (EspA), la US permite evaluar articulaciones, tendones y sitios de entesis, detectando daño estructural y la presencia de vascularización característica, que refleja actividad inflamatoria local.
