La ecografía y la entesis
Resumen
La ecografía aplicada al estudio de las enfermedades reumáticas es un área de constante crecimiento. La entesitis representa una de las principales características clínicas de las espondiloartritis. Con el advenimiento de nuevas terapias para el manejo de estas manifestaciones, es indispensable contar con herramientas que faciliten su estudio. La ecografía ha demostrado ser una técnica sensible y reproducible para la detección del compromiso inflamatorio a nivel de las entesis y existe evidencia acerca de su utilidad para el diagnóstico y monitoreo terapéutico de las espondiloartritis.Citas
